Depth beats breadth.
We would rather know two sectors properly than hold an opinion on every one. Depth is what lets us ask the right question in the first meeting.
Tikab exists for the people making those decisions in finance and climate. This is what we believe, and how we choose to work.
READ ONWhy we exist
We started Tikab because we kept seeing the same thing: smart teams, real ambition, and a pile of slides that never turned into anything.
Strategy was treated as a document. Execution was someone else's problem. So we built a firm that works differently: small, senior, and specialised. We chose two sectors, fintech and climate, because that is where we know the ground, and because that is where many of the decisions of the next decade are being made.
What follows is our promise, to clients and to ourselves, about how we work.
— The founders of Tikab
What we believe
We would rather know two sectors properly than hold an opinion on every one. Depth is what lets us ask the right question in the first meeting.
Not a report, not a framework, not a ninety-page deck. If the work does not help someone decide and act, it is not finished.
In finance, in AI, in climate data, trust never appears on its own. It is built into products, models, and processes from the first sketch.
AI and new platforms are powerful, and easy to reach for too early. We begin with what actually needs to change.
Test small, learn fast, then commit. Momentum is not proof, and confidence is not data.
We don't deliver and leave. We stay until the work moves, and we judge ourselves by what happens after we are gone.
If the model isn't working, we will say so. If we are not the right team, we will say that too. Honest beats polite.
TWO PRACTICES. ONE CONVICTION.
Finance shapes what gets built. Climate determines what can endure.
We work where the two meet, because that is where capital, risk, and the long term turn into a single decision.
If this sounds like the way you want to work, we should talk.
